Meet Partridge Pea, the little wildflower with a lot of love to give. This sweet senior gentleman may sound like he belongs in a garden, but his favorite thing to grow is cozy couch potato skills. Partridge Pea is a curious old guy who likes to quietly investigate the world around him, especially if it leads to a soft blanket or a comfy bed worthy of his royal retirement era. He can be a bit shy at first and may need some time to warm up, but once he feels safe, his gentle personality starts to bloom. He’s the kind of pup who will happily keep you company during slow mornings, afternoon naps, and peaceful evenings. Partridge Pea is simply looking for a patient heart, a warm bed, and a home where he can blossom at his own pace.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Partridge Pea is a very chill dog. He sleeps well all night and when he wakes up, after a quick trip outside to pee and breakfast he is ready for a morning nap. A mid morning walk followed by a couple of treats ( chicken) and he’s ready for another nap or snuggle time. He likes his 2 walks per day. His last walk he really enjoys after supper.
He’s happy to relax with you while you read or watch TV. So far he hasn’t barked at all so he’s a quiet dog too. His appetite is good and seems completely house trained. It seems to me that he can’t hear. Doesn’t respond to voices or other sounds. Partridge Pea is a quiet relaxed dog. He enjoys several naps per day. We are enjoying having him with us. He makes a great companion.
