Papi has been here for almost a week, and so far I am a huge fan! He is a tiny dog with a giant personality. Papi is happy to meet anyone who comes his way and he became fast friends with my partner’s pit bull. Papi may be a senior, but has no problem bouncing up on the couch or going on walks around the neighborhood. He gets some serious wiggles whenever you get his leash & harness out for a walk. After a little exercise, he’s more than happy to lay in the sun or snuggle up on the couch. He may have been crate trained previously and will voluntarily go to the crate to nap in his bed, and did fine when I closed it up to go run errands. I’m not sure if he is potty trained, since I am with him most of the day/evening. He won’t tell you he needs to go out, but knows what to do when you open the door & say “let’s go potty”.
