Paco is an 11-year-old, 20 lb dachshund with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a bit of time and patience, and he’ll be curled up next to you (or on your lap!) ready for a cozy Netflix marathon.
This sweet boy loves soft head scratches, snuggling under the covers at bedtime, and following his favorite human from room to room. He’s potty trained, rides well in the car, and knows how to use a ramp to get up on the couch or bed without straining his back—though he’ll still try to launch himself up with those determined little legs.
Paco enjoys short, leisurely walks and doesn’t need much more than that. He’s a slow-and-steady explorer who’s more interested in sniffing the breeze than running laps. He gets along well with other dogs, shows interest in toys, and is an all-around good eater with excellent house manners.
