There are some instances where small is a deal breaker – shoes, bowls of ice cream, and imagination, for starters. This is absolutely not true of chihuahuas. Especially Otter. Little as this little guy is, he is big on pep, swagger, smiling and making friends. To see him strut and lap-sit his way across a room is to witness the pinnacle of chi charm and engineering. He’s dressed in fawn cashmere with chocolate suede ears, and he’s got nothing but time for your snuggles and pets. Tuck him into your tote and take him to your next meeting. He’s an excellent ice-breaker.

Otter is the true definition of a lap dog! If there is anyone in the house who has a lap I can guarantee you that he will be on it. I am in a wheelchair and the first time I met him, he leaped into my chair and wagged his cute little tail! He is house trained as long as you take him out every couple hours.
Otter is dog friendly, cat friendly, bird friendly, and guinea pig friendly. He is the sweetest boy with the largest ears on the block. He has no trouble going up and down my stairs and enjoys a nice little walk around the block.
He can do the doggy stairs to get up on my bed where he sleeps curled up into a tiny ball by my head. He stays asleep until I wake up and every day he wakes up with a cute smile and a tail wag. I have never heard one bark coming from his mouth. He is extremely quiet, mellow in nature, and easy to fall in love with.
Otter is loved by every single person in my house, by strangers, and especially by me!
