Handsome chi Oshkosh, a standup guy with a storied past, has already proved himself to be a loving friend to humans of all ages and dogs of many persuasions. A one-time stray, he lived with an elderly guardian for years and more recently with a foster, demonstrating along the way his superior skills as a live-in provider of companionship, affection and sage advice. He likes a daily jaunt and an occasional stretch of the legs when nature calls, but he’s not a climber of stairs or an obsessive fetcher. Just a chill fella who can teach us all a thing or two about the power of hanging out. Adopt him to take your self-care commitment to the next level, with a velvety friend by your side.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Oshkosh looks like he’s been around the block, but beneath that rugged exterior lies a gentle soul. One of the quietest dogs I’ve ever been around, he will tranquilly observe what you’re doing for long periods without making a move. He loves his fluffy bed for long naps.
On the other hand, Osh perks up for meals and gobbles with relish (though no pickle relish, thanks), cleaning his bowl every time. On walks he might be in the mood for a short trot, or at other times he’ll happily walk around the block (again). His nose is always on the prowl for curious smells. As for climbing, his range is one step.
The best medicine for Oshkosh is TLC – which is always welcome. Some evenings at bedtime he seems disquieted, but a few scratches behind the ears and a back rub, and he’s off to dreamland.
If you are seeking a silent (but sweet) partner, Oshkosh is top-drawer all the way!
