This is a call to compassionate individuals. Oscar and Chancey are a bonded pair of pets who have been through a lot! They were just adopted 2 yrs. ago and now are homeless and seeking a forever home after their guardian’s untimely passing November 6, 2026.

Oscar is around 8 or 9 yrs. old and roughly 75 pounds and full of affection, a kiss-giver with a pocketful of charm. He bears a squishy ball in his mouth like a tiny pacifier, parading it with pride and inviting a game of fetch. We found that he is quite the talker making adorable sounds he coaxes from his lips signals his wants, turning conversation into a playful duet. His nature shines with sweetness—gentle, friendly, mellow, kind, loyal, and utterly loving. He is not cat friendly as far as we know. He just longs for the warmth of love and his only buddy Chancey’s to be at his side.

Chancey is around 4 yrs. old roughly 35 pounds a sweet, slightly shy shadow with a heart that warms quickly. Give him a moment, and he will melt into kisses and wagging delight. He adores a bright orange squishy toy bone, a beacon of play in his world. His essence mirrors Oscar’s: good-natured, gentle, friendly, mellow, kind, loyal, and loving. He is not cat friendly as far as we know. He simply craves love and companionship, forever tethered to his best friend Oscar.

Both Oscar and Chancey are neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, leash trained, and housed trained.

This is a courtesy post. Oscar and Chancey are not Muttville dogs. If you are interested in adopting Oscar and Chancey and want to learn more about them, please contact: Geri Hill: 916-206-5321 or Claudia Romero: 916-849-7003 .
