Norton and Origami’s love is truer than any love that has come before. Romeo and Juliette, Wesley and Buttercup, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen-all are nothing compared to Norton and Origami. Norton, a handsome potato with a heart-melting smile, can be a little timid at first. But once his friendly other half, Origami, comes to his rescue with tail wags and encouragement, Norton is completely at ease. Putting on a harness for the first time can be really scary! But luckily for Norton, he has his sweet and fearless partner to show him how it’s done. This dynamic due will have you wondering how you ever lived without them. They are the yin and yang that you have been missing in your life!

Here’s some notes from their foster:

Norton and Origami have been in my home for about a few weeks now and have been delightful! Origami is flirtatious and outgoing…she will come right up to you and charmingly tap you with her little paw to pet her head. Norton is kind of like a cat… he was a little unsure of me at first, but after a few days, he quickly got comfortable and by day 3, he started rolling over for belly rubs. It has been very sweet to see them get settled in.

The two are definitely bonded and need to stay together. They are super low maintenance; they like to snuggle up in the sunniest spot of the room. They are great on walks. I take them on a one to two mile walk per day. They walk at a good pace and enjoy sniffing new spots and other dogs. I have 2 dogs of my own and they have gotten along well with them. I have stairs and they both have been able to maneuver them like pros. They are potty trained and know to go outside.

These guys would do great in a single-family home or in the suburbs… when I leave them alone in my home, they settle in and sleep. They don’t dig or scratch or chew anything. (I monitor them on camera.) .

They are spry! They can jump up on sofas and into cars… they jump into the cars very excitedly! Currently they sleep together in their little snuggly bed, and sleep through the night with no problems. These little brownies would make a fantastic, loving addition to your family!

I have stairs and they both have been able to maneuver them. The first night Norton was a little apprehensive about climbing up my winding stairs, but got the hang of it by the next day. We have had no accidents, they know how to hold it. I did take them out to my backyard very often the first few days though, so that they would know that was where to go. I left them alone in my apartment and monitored them on camera… they slept the whole time! No apparent separation anxiety.
