Opal

Opal

#5175
Chihuahua Mix
Female
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted for hospice care

Opal is an adorable, senior gal whose wagging tail and outgoing personality are sure to put a smile on your face!

Opal originally came to us from the Antioch animal shelter. Sadly, her owner could no longer take care of her so she was surrendered to the county shelter and then transferred to Muttville. Since arriving, Opal has made herself right at home. She enjoys exploring, making new friends (with people and dogs alike), and just hanging out. She’s a happy-go-lucky gal and will make a wonderful family member!

Opal is 11 years young, weighing 14 pounds.

Due to an invasive mammary tumor, Opal is available for adoption through Muttville’s hospice care program.

Check out what Opal’s foster has to say about this sweet gal:

Opal is a super sweet girl. She’s lovable, affectionate, easy going & quiet. She can do a few short walks a day, but mostly loves to sleep. She is mostly indifferent to other dogs, but gets along fine. Opal is also house-broken. She loves to go inside her blanket or towel & hide her head under it & sleep. Opal also loves to curl up & sleep next to her people.

Please watch Opal enjoying herself on a chair at Muttville!
