Like the beautiful, black stone for which she is named, Onyx is a precious one. She was found as a stray in Martinez and taken to Animal Control; Muttville came to her rescue on her last day.
Onyx is a short, stocky girl who weighs around 45 pounds and is around 7 years old. This girl had multiple litters of pups and was then dumped on the street, she ius a diamond in the rough and she blossoms daily.
Onyx gets along with all other dogs, but should probably be in a cat-free home. She is housetrained and rides well in the car. She can climb stairs but would be most comfortable in a home where she is not constantly going up and down. She is very grateful to be in a foster home and follows her foster mom around all day long. Her ears were cropped in an effort to make her look fierce, but she really looks more like a little gremlin with salt and pepper all over her muzzle. She has a large white spot on her chest.
Onyx needs someone to love her for the rest of her life, and she will more than return the favor!!!!
