Everyone knows that onions have layers. Well this Onion has plenty! He has this salt and pepper hair, a gorgeous gray beard, the best personality and the most perfect pointed ears. Onion enjoys his outings on his motorcycle whenever he can. He is a senior biker who is quite the opposite of a bad boy. He is a bit shy at first but has always been friendly to every human and mutt he meets. He prefers to wear his chaps, however he is so tiny he falls right out of them. If anyone knows how to sew, Onion could really use a good needle and thread and your services!

Oh sweet Onion
Onion is still the best snuggler and loves belly rubs once he feels safe with you. He sleeps like a little curled up log right by your head at night. If he pottys before bed time he can make it all night. He will make you feel so loved! He does need to potty a few times in a day, so having easy access to go out is a plus. We have had a few accidents in the house, so potty pads or belly bands to start may be useful. He will always choose to go outside if given the choice.
Onion can definitely manage stairs and can jump up on lower beds and sofas no problem. The last few days we’ve enjoyed longer walks with our mini Aussie Shepherd, and Onion is keeping up. His tail starts wagging when I bring out the leash. He likes to follow our dog’s lead and it helps keep him focused. He’s still pretty skittish out in busy areas so best to start around quieter streets, neighborhoods. He’s also proven to be very friendly with other dogs. He’s handled greetings with other dogs really well, is curious, polite and friendly.
Onion is playful! He likes playing fetch with smaller toys that he can grab and likes getting in on the action when our dog is in a playful mood.
I think Onion would do best with another friendly dog in the home, to keep him company, and help with any separation anxiety. He really took a liking to our dog and liked having a protector. I’m sure he would be fine solo & getting all the attention too, as long as his caregiver was home a lot.
He is a very special old man, has the sweetest face and cutest long legs and soft tummy. If it were just me I would’ve adopted this sweet soul by now! If you are looking for a loving companion, and can provide security and peace, this gentle old pup may be the one!
