Old Man Jenkins is small in stature with a personality that’s larger than life. Ask the Muttville bigs whom he occasionally barks at and trots under, seemingly for sport: There’s nothing puny about Jenkins. He’s also an old man, though he prefers “seasoned,” which is fair, as he is very firm on his miniature feet and as handsome as a whippersnapper. OMJ makes friends easily with fellow pups and humans, a no-nonsense smooth operator who may sell used cars online. He also likes his walkies, snacks and snuggles as much the next guy. His senior standout? Most likely to succeed. Want to bring home a winner and treat him like a family member? He’s in!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Old Man Jenkins is an incredibly sweet and easy going little boy. He’s very good on a leash and loves to go for walks. At home, he’s happy to cuddle on the couch or in bed with us, but he’s also comfortable on his own and content to nap in his bed (he likes to curl up under a blanket). He sleeps through the night just fine.
He’s very food motivated, so eager to please and likely easy to train. He’s great with other dogs, both on and off leash, and he’s very quiet. We haven’t heard him bark a single time. He can manage stairs, but definitely prefers to be carried up and down.
