Meet Oats! He’s the cutest darling, spreading joy and love everywhere he goes. In true chihuahua style, he loves cuddling up in a lap and snuggling with his person or doggie playmates. He can’t wait to find his forever family so he can start showering them with doggie kisses!

Oats has been such a delight to have in our home the past week, he is going to be a dream dog for a very lucky someone!
He first arrived pretty timid and unsure, but he has settled in so well. He warmed up to me first, and loves to follow me around to check out what I’m up to, and then find a spot to cuddle with me on the couch, or on my lap while I work, or he finds a cozy spot on the couch. He is perfect with my 50-lb rescue mutt, and has started cuddling with her which is too cute to handle. He has no food aggression, unless being SO SO EXCITED for food counts as aggression.
He’s super agile, and can handle stairs or getting up on the furniture no problem. He also loves being carried, and leans into it every time I pick him up.
He would do great in a house with older children or younger children that are calm and gentle . He would also do wonderful with or without a doggy sibling.
