Nova!

Nova!

German Shepherd Mix
Female
Large (50-90 lbs)
Status: Available from another shelter

I adopted Nova from a German Shepherd rescue in LA back in 2018 — they estimated she was about 2-3 years old at the time, which would make her around 10 now. She’s a very chill, easygoing dog who’s great with people, including small children. She’s fully house trained, walks well on a leash, and isn’t much of a barker (the doorbell is really the only thing that sets her off!). She’s very food motivated, so fair warning — she will try to steal food if given the chance.

It does take her a bit of time to warm up to other dogs, especially smaller ones, so she’d do best in a calm, patient home — ideally without other small dogs, or with a gradual introduction if there are other pets.

She’s pretty low energy and very calm overall. She doesn’t need a ton of exercise to be happy, but she does love walking in the park or going on a short hike to explore. She has a real talent for finding the softest, comfiest spot in any room and claiming it as her own. She also loves a good butt scratch — it’s basically the fastest way to her heart. Overall, she’s just a laid-back, easygoing companion who’s happy to keep you company wherever you are.

She’s spayed, healthy, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. She weighs approximately 75 lbs.

This is a courtesy post. Nova! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Nova! and want to learn more about her, please contact: wowheadclub@gmail.com.
