If you’re looking for a beautiful Boston with the pliability of a piece of pasta and a spunky senior who puts the high in high energy, may we suggest Noodle? Noodle is a nugget of doggy goodness who is just waiting to wiggle into her forever home for the holidays, and we simply couldn’t think of a peppier present to be waiting under your tree. While at Muttville, we’ve conscripted her to be a photographer’s assistant, so she’s been enthusiastically encouraging the other mutts to strut their stuff with helpful tips. Is she responsible for some of the best photos on our website? That’s a bit subjective, but you know what isn’t? The fact that this lovely lady would be an excellent addition to your family.

Here’s some notes from her foster:

If Noodle soup is one of the ultimate comfort foods, then Noodle the dog is one of the ultimate comfort dogs. She bounds with enthusiasm to greet you, wiggles in excitement about getting pets, snuggles in close on the couch for warmth, and jumps for joy about meal time. She is the definition of joy and such a light in the dark days of winter!

A few key things to know about Noodle:

She is aptly named Noodle because she loves to wiggle! Noodle gets so excited, she loves to plop down on a rug or couch and wiggle with her feet in the air. She LOVES if this also results in belly rubs.

She loves her walks! She has great energy and would love to accompany you on long walks and multiple walks per day. Right now we do a long morning and evening walk and then a potty break midday and before bed.

Noodle is also great at stairs! Up and down.

She is great about going to the bathroom outside. Whether on leash or in our small yard she goes promptly.

She gets along fantastic with our resident dog. Noodle does tend to do excited “nose to nose” intros, which can be a bit much on first interaction for some mutts, but we found after some quick hellos she doesn’t persist in her enthusiasm. She’s likes to curl up on the couch or a bed with him. We haven’t seen any bed, human, or resource guarding in our home.

We’ve left her alone for short periods of time (~30 minutes max so far) and she was pacing for a short amount of time before settling down for a nice snooze.

She likes to be included around the house – whichever room you’re in, she wants to be in. She won’t be underfoot necessarily, but she’ll often just jump on the couch, or the dog bed in that room and keep an eye on things

She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in the bedroom. If she can snuggle into a blanket on the bed, all the better. She’ll sleep in until you wake her. Noodle does fantastic in the car – jumps into the back seat. Sits and looks out the window, or lays down. Doesn’t make a peep. We’ve taker her to a cafe and a pet store so far and she was a perfect customer.

We can’t say enough great things about how much Noodle keeps us laughing throughout the day. She’s an adorable energetic senior who is ready to be your adventure companion!
