Nola. Laissez les bontemps roulez!

SF may be a long way from The Big Easy, but Nola conjures up the sweet charm and energy of her namesake city. She’s a little dog with a big personality, and she’s always up for a new adventure. Full of energy and curiosity, Nola would be a great companion for someone who leads and active lifestyle and is looking for a canine sidekick. She’s relying on the kindness of a stranger who can appreciate her beauty and enchanting company. In return, she might just be the best friend you’ve ever had.

Nola is estimated to be 10 years young and weighs 12 lbs.

Here’s what her foster has to say:

Nola is very sweet and loving. She’s also quiet – she doesn’t bark except for a few times when the doorbell rings. She seems to like car rides and rests on her blanket in the car.

She’s very calm, but extremely active when she gets a small squeaky ball. She loves to play catch with it for hours and on her own, if given a towel or blanket, will hide the ball in the blanket and then try to find it on her own. She’s a good active little walker when she feels like going for a walk.

Overall, a very intelligent and sweet dog!! And as mentioned above, she LOVES playing with the little squeaky ball. She loves being in little dog beds with blankets, and once she gets used to you, would love to sleep in her owners bed. She likes to sit on your lap. She is the perfect dog for an apartment, as she can get a lot of activity inside just playing with her ball and she doesn’t seem to need too many walks each day. I take her for two 20 minute walks each day and that seems to satisfy her.
