Meet Niner! He comes to us from the Newman County Animal Shelter.
Niner is a sweet and easy Cocker Spaniel whom you’ll fall in love within seconds! He loves to be around people and other dogs. Niner would be a great addition to a household and loves smelling the smells and taking a stroll! This loving senior dog cannot wait to find a forever home!
Niner is 10 years young and weighs about 29 pounds.

Niner is a love! He loves people & wants to be where the action is. He really enjoys walks but when home likes to flop at our feet & take a nap. He’s pretty quiet except when he sees a dog friend he might like or when he doesn’t know where his people are. But he also calms down easily. His energy level is pretty high for a senior dog. He easily tolerated a 45-minute walk today without tiring. His house-training is excellent. Niner is incredibly curious in the best way & likes to be your shadow! He also loves napping on the floor on his new favorite pillows.
STAFF PICK!"Niner is a superstar among my mega-crushes at Muttville and I’ve only had a few. Since being at Muttville I have decided that my favorite type of dog is “dog” though I have always had a thing for cockers and this wonder-dog makes me feel like I might actually be worthy of such adoring love. He’s calm, affectionate and loves a nap at my feet but enthusiastically jumps up for a long hike. He doesn’t really hear well though he makes up for it with his sparkling, lover’s eyes. Niner is a perfect doggie for a human who hopes for a very best-friend companion or a couple who would like to have a great companion for getting out for walks. He’d be wonderful with the whole family though everyone should remember that the hearing loss means he should stay on a leash at all times except within the home.
