Some people believe that dogs can peer through your soul and erase all your troubles and sorrows. Miss Nikki the Doxie Terrier mix is one of those dogs who will do her best to make each day lovelier than the next. Nikki likes taking her humans for walks through the day. Her doctor once told her exercise and laughter is the best medicine. Now she is one lean scrufftastic walking machine. She also loves a good chuckle and wants to live in a big family full of other dogs and tons of love. If you love to laugh love and stay active, Nikki is the lady of your dreams!

Nikki is eating very well and is always excited for meal time. She’s got incredible puppy-like energy, and wants to play with the ball all day long. She enjoys long, fast-paced walks with our other dog and walks really well on leash. She seems to know basic commands like sit, stay, come. She is pretty good at whining when she wants to go outside to potty. She usually needs to go out right when she wakes up!
Milo (our senior German Shepherd) and her seem to be getting along well! We have been feeding them in separate rooms not because they necessarily need it but just to play it safe. They walk next to each other on leash, and hang out in the house following one another. Nikki is a velcro dog, she will bounce around the house and check out everything you’re doing! She’s incredibly curious and playful, her energy is so great to have in the house.
She is obsessed with toys and wants something to keep her busy so a hard ball distracts her well. Nikki also prefers hanging out on couches and human beds to her doggie bed. She’s a major cuddle bug and always wants to be touching.
