Long and leggy New Wave is a creamy chi who looks like he could have a closet full of tailored suits and skinny ties. Lord knows he has a killer smile and a strong fan following. His nerdy cutie pie-ness is not exactly the stuff of rock stardom, but it makes him a natural for filling a forever home with love and giggles. He gets along great with other dogs and has plenty of energy for short walks. An avid collector of belly rubs, he works his way into the hearts and laps of all humans in his midst with endearing determination. Note: He kisses indiscriminately. Adopt him for daily affirmation and quality hangs.

New Wave is an extremely loving affectionate dog. He does pretty well on leash, he doesn’t really walk in front of you, he either walks next to you or behind you. He’s seems to be very interested in dogs and other people when on walks. He loves to be carried especially like a baby with his head snuggled into your shoulder. He loves his food and treats. Hasn’t been picky about anything.
He’s a great errand buddy. He’s happy in a sling and as quiet as can be in stores, very content with his person. New Wave updates – he can officially use the stairs going both up and down! He continues to blossom into himself every day.
Today he met so many baby friends at the park. He’s very tolerant and obsessed with being the center of attention no matter the person’s age.
When going to bed we don’t let him sleep with us so he chooses to sleep in the dog bed next to our bed. He has now been sleeping soundly through the night.
He has the sweetest howl when he hears firetrucks! He’s so loving and cuddly but he takes time to settle into a routine and feel confident. He’s relaxed a lot since our first few days with him. Now he naps most of the day in his bed and doesn’t follow us everywhere; instead, he watches from the bed and only gets up if we’re gone for more than a few minutes. We’ve also learned he knows how to sit and (sort of) lay down!
