Nana was found abandoned at a campground near Yuba City…..This incredibly gorgeous Akita girl is a gentle giant. We think she is 8-10 years old and she weighs 90 pounds. She is slow and easy on leash and gets along fine with other dogs.
She just tested positive for heart worm and we would like to find her a mellow home where she can go through her treatment. Just so you know, heart worm is not contagious…Nana is super affectionate and seems to have been loved in her life before. She just needs a warm cozy and loving home where she can enjoy her golden years and a family to love too!!
