Like his legendary namesake, he’s a champion of endurance, grace under pressure, and winning people over without saying a word. He prefers cozy couch matches to center court, thrives on being carried like the trophy he is, and will gaze at you with the same intensity the original Nadal reserves for match point. This gentle, affectionate old man doesn’t need a racket…just a warm lap, kind words, and someone to cheer him on through his golden years.

Nadal is a chonky, mellow fellow with a quiet, confident personality. This handsome senior sports a distinguished salt and pepper look with a thick beautiful coat. His vision is good but his hearing status is still unclear. He is a lover of chicken and cheese, naps, comfy rugs and dog beds.
Despite being low energy and ambling about the world slowly, he still likes to pitter patter around the house to get his steps in for the day. He is great on a leash (doesn’t pull) and seems relaxed on walks. So far he seems to do well being brought out to potty on a regular schedule. Going up and down stairs is unsafe for him so he would do best in a stairless home. He has been great with the resident dog and doesn’t seem to resource guard during meal times. While initially aloof, chicken was a phenomenal ice breaker and in just 24hrs he is already starting to trust me and give me loving licks.
