Myron – the most handsome and fluffy boy we know!!
This guy is chill and so sweet. He’s currently living with other dogs and doing well. He came is as a stray but we got him all cleaned up and he’s ready for his new beginning.
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Myron is so small and adorable that you would just want to carry him around, snuggle and kiss him! Personality wise, Myron is super low key and mellow, preferring freedom of space within reasonable boundaries and not confined. He sleeps most of the time and has occasional bouts of wakefulness, especially around meal time.
He loves slow, leisurely walks around the block so he can sniff and do his thing. Due to his lack of hearing and significant visual deficit, his sense of smell is more acute when it comes to food, and familiar smelling environments. Myron will stand and yearn longingly for his meals, gobble up voraciously while snarfing up his meds at the same time. He also takes his eye med well. He’ll be happy to sleep in your bed, sit next to you on the sofa or sleep in a doggie bed.
Myron needs regularity in his potty-ing needs. I usually carry him out morning and night and when he wakes from naps. Although stairs are not recommended, Myron has found his way through a doggy door and up 3 steps (from my backyard after doing his business; he can tentatively go down some short steps with leash guidance but this requires a close eye).
A belly band would come in handy when his person is away from home for short periods of time if outdoor access is not readily available or at night (initially until confident). Diligence is important to avoid accidents.
Myron would make a great companion to care for and love. He’ll do best in a mature, patient, watchful and open setting with his person(s). He likes the company of other dogs and can be playful with them at times.
