Mulberry is the sweetest, happiest little girl! She is a bit timid, but she warms up quickly. I think she is really enjoying learning how to be spoiled and get attention, as I’m not sure she got much of that before.
She follows me everywhere around the house, and if I’ve been gone, she gets super excited when I come back and wags her tail like crazy and makes this hilarious squeaking sound.
She eats well, as long as what I’m serving is chicken and cheese. We tried some kibble, but she was not interested. I think her bad teeth may be part of why she only wants the soft, canned food (she likes Weruva’s chicken flavor…I think it’s called Paw Lickin Chicken).
Mulberry quickly learned to walk on a leash, and she walks very nicely and has quite a bit of energy for a little one. We’ve been taking three walks a day of about 20 minutes each. We’re making progress on house training…she’s gotten the hang of pee pads, and most of the time now she will go outside.
She sleeps through the night and gets along well with her two little foster brothers. They even let her share their bed last night!
Although she is still a little unsure of the world, Mulberry seems to want to come out of her shell, and I know she will continue to get braver every day as she learns to trust again.
