Like the treat she’s named for, Moonpie the Catahoula Leopard Dog is an ingenious combination of the best sweet stuff. In her case: Goofy affection, unpretentious intelligence and contagious energy. Her beauty – long legs, swirls of speckles and butterscotch accents – is also pretty special, but it’s her love of people and dogs, especially the Muttville littles, that knocks us out. Also, her avid treat enthusiasm, coupled with a high IQ, is the source of much joy and impressive tricks. She’s bouncing back nicely from some hair loss, also bouncing up and down stairs like a champ. Come say hello! Chances are, you won’t want to say goodbye.

Moonpie is an absolute sweetie pie. She loves cuddling and getting lots of pets. She’s extremely sweet with the kids and doesn’t mind the constant attention from them! She’s a big fan of walks and is really amazing on the leash. She’s keeps pace and doesn’t pull. When she’s at home, she loves to lounge around and take naps. She’s quite an easy going love bug!!
