Oh Montgomery, how we love you!
This special old guy came into us with a lot of lumps and bumps and pain. But we are working to get him as comfy as possible and help him find a hospice home to love him up. He is a sweet soul who just needs a soft spot to land in a mature house hold. He did really well with all of the dogs at HQ and is looking for friends to help him check all the things off his Bark-It List!

Montgomery is a very sweet boy who always has a smile on his face! He loves to be scratched on the head and will usually roll over for belly pets once you start petting him. He gets along great with other dogs (we have two other dogs here – they all do wonderful together and we had zero issues introducing them). He also hasn’t had any trouble meeting other people – we had some people over for 4th of July and he did great meeting everyone and gladly accepted pats on the head from anyone who would give them.
He loves to hang in his dog bed and he sleeps through the night in a dog bed next to our bed. He likes to go on short walks around the neighborhood and is easy on a leash. Overall, Montgomery has been a delightful houseguest and is easy to have around – it’s hard not to fall in love with his happy personality!
