As you can see, Monica needs a workout buddy and new best friend. She came to Muttville extremely obese and is ready to start her new workout plan with you! Monica loves going for walks and exploring the outdoors. She gets around as best as she can, and clearly wants to be more active. Monica is also dog friendly and social. She loves people and is a big love bug. Can you give Monica the brand new fresh start she deserves?
Monica is 8.5 years young, weighing 11 pounds. Her ideal weight would be around 7 pounds.

Monica is a mellow little love! She is very calm, quiet & confident, never seen her bothered or nervous about anything or anyone. She loves to be close to her people without being clingy or anxious. She’s a perfect little sidekick! Monica is currently on a fitness and weight loss journey and is making huge strides everyday! She needs more movement and really loves parading around as she gets into better shape. Monica is VERY comfortable with other dogs – she likes to sniff them out, then cuddle up and take a nap. We have 5 other dogs here of all sizes and ages and she is the same easy going with all of them! She needs some work on house-training. She is very good in a crate and holds it through the night. You can take Monica anywhere without a problem and she makes friends everywhere she goes. She would love a home where she can continue to get in shape with loving support.
