Background:
Molly is an 8-year-old Doberman-Whippet. My wife and I adopted her in 2018 but I injured my back in January last year. I am still trying to recover and we have two young children to take care of, too. Molly is a very sweet, obedient dog but she is sometimes unpredictable around other dogs so I have had to walk her away from other dogs. This has meant she hasn’t been outside much since early 2024. My wife has her hands absolutely full trying to manage the household, our children and work.
Location: Pleasant Hill
Age: 8
Sex: Female
Size: 30-40 lbs / 2-2.5 ft
Spayed: Yes
Microchipped: Yes, through 2026
Good with Kids/People: Yes
Vaccinated:
Up-to-date, except for Leptospirosis and Bordetella (these two were due last summer but I wasn’t able to take Molly to the vet).
Good with Dogs/Cats:
She is fine with other dogs at the park when away from her home and off-leash, but generally, she preferred to stay close to me instead of playing with other dogs. She had no experience with cats.
Indoor/Outdoor Personality:
She likes being at home, curled up on the floor near us, but she absolutely loved going out for walks, especially where she can run around.
