Missy is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love to give. She’s happiest curled up in her cozy dog bed (she loves being tucked in with a blanket!) or lounging on a soft rug by your feet. Recently, she’s started showing affection by giving gentle kisses.
This sweet lady is also great with other dogs and enjoys their company, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. She has a calm, easygoing nature that lets her blend in beautifully with other animal friends. She was also super gentle and patient with my 5 and 9 year old nephew and niece, so I think she’d be happy in a home with kiddos.
Though Missy has a bit of stiffness in her legs and moves at her own pace, she doesn’t let that stop her! She’s familiar with stairs and can manage them with a little help, but a home without stairs-or with someone who can lend her a hand-might be ideal.
A low-key girl, Missy is content to spend most of her day relaxing. She only needs a couple of brief trips outside, making her a wonderful companion for a laid-back home. Due to some hearing loss, she enjoys peaceful sleep even with household noises around her, whether the TV is on or her foster sister is playing nearby.
Missy is fully potty trained and will nudge you gently when it’s time for a potty break. She’s also highly food-motivated and knows to sit politely for treats. When it’s time for bed, she settles down in her own bed and sleeps soundly through the night.
