Miriam is a very sweet girl. I think an active home with another dog would be a great fit for her. She must not have been walked often in her previous home, she is a bit unsure of the leash! But she will follow my other dogs on a walk and she’s becoming more comfortable with the leash everyday. She only walks a block but we are happy for the start! She needs to lose some weight and the walks seem to be helping with that.
We’re still working on getting her to do her business outside (she’s making progress!) but she is potty pad trained so that’s a big help!
A more active family that enjoys going on regular doggie walks would be good to keep her weight down. She likes to nap quite a bit and she has no anxiety when I leave. She does not bark at all!
