Minerva is an adorable little Chihuahua mix with a big story to tell!

This cute senior girl was rescued from a garbage dump in Mexico, but you’d never guess it! She’s the sweetest thing and absolutely adores people. Minerva loves to meet new people, cuddle, and is super social with other dogs. She’s very outgoing and would make a wonderful addition to any kind of home. Minerva is sure to bring lots of love and adventure to your life!

Minerva is 10 years young and weighs 9 pounds.

Here’s what Minerva’s foster has to say about this gal:

Minerva is lovable, sweet and enjoys cuddling! She’s overall a happy dog and makes a great companion. She learns quickly by watching what the other dogs are doing. We went on a 1-hour walk today. She is a speedy little thing when she wants to be and keeps up the pace with our dog who is a few lbs larger. She’s fantastic with other dogs. We have a dog who rules the house and Minerva is happy letting ours be the alpha. Minerva is potty trained. We have an outdoor patio with a wee-wee grass mat. She learned within moments that she was supposed to go potty on it. Whenever she has to go, she walks to the door and stands there. She’s currently enjoying cooked rice and chicken. At bedtime, she curls up on her bed and likes to have a blanket snuggled around her. She loves to roll around on her back and for her tummy to be rubbed.
