Who’s sweet and petite and ready to meet? It’s our tiny Chi girl Mimsy! This little lady loves to be carried around and held, and if you’re sitting, she’ll make herself comfortable in your lap or right by your side. She bonds quickly and is loyal through and through! Mimsy may be a senior mutt, but she’s still got plenty of pep in her step. Mimsy is as quiet as a mouse (and kinda resembles one) and is sure to win your heart!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Mimsy loves her scratches and snuggling on the couch (by far her favorite activity). She’s not much for toys, but she likes to run around the house and play one-on-one. She’s great with stairs and is surprisingly agile (she can jump onto most furniture!) She has a slight limp/twitch in one of her hind legs, so that is something to be aware of when walking her.
Mimsy has only been here a few days so we are still figuring out a routine . There’s been no issues giving her her eye drops though, she’s been such a good girl with taking them. Mimsy also loves her food, we have been putting water in her food to make sure she stays hydrated.
Mimsy is no doubt a lapdog at heart, though she also enjoys playing and going on walks. Her energy levels are about average I would say (she’s very quiet though, haven’t heard her bark once since we’ve taken her in as a foster a few days ago).
Leaving Mimsy alone has been smooth sailing (she usually just sleeps). She also enjoys going on car rides (loves to stick her head out the window!) and walks to meet other dogs, though she seems a bit scared of other people / strangers on the street.
Since we’ve taken her in, Mimsy has had a handful of interactions with other dogs with no incident. She’s a little shy, but she loves to say hi from afar (at least initially). I’m sure with time though she will warm up more to other animals (same goes for other people).
