Mimi is an adorable senior gal with a big story to tell!

This loving girl was originally dumped at a shelter in Ensenada, Mexico. She spent months in the shelter before a rescuer came to her aid. Mimi then spent almost an entire year living in another shelter before being transferred to Muttville. As you can see, this sweetheart has clearly been through so much. However, Mimi has a huge heart and fighting spirit and has persevered through it all! She is very endearing and sure to win you over immediately with her sweet personality and gentle demeanor. Mimi is the perfect lap dog and has been patiently waiting for her forever family in a loving foster home! Please make her dreams of having her own family come true soon!

Mimi is 8 years old and weighs 10 pounds.

Here is what Mimi’s fosters have to say about her:

Mimi was rescued from the pound in Ensenada, Mexico. There’s no telling how old she is, but “quite old” would be a safe bet. She’s about 8 pounds of pure goodness. She’s mellow, doesn’t bark much, and loves to cuddle with humans and other dogs. She’s also good with the cat she shares a foster home with.

Mimi likes to go on outdoor adventures, but can’t walk too far as she will get tired. When she has decided she’s walked far enough, she enjoys being carried. If you’re looking for a super chill and loving lapdog with minimal exercise requirements, Mimi might be the one for you. Mimi is a loving old soul who deserves only the best. Her foster mom’s would happily adopt her themselves if they didn’t have two dogs already. She’s an absolute angel.

Mimi is one of the most loving foster dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She is a deeply affectionate, mellow, attentive & sensitive soul. She is a LOVE BUG. Mimi is mellow & loves naps. Mimi is super chill with dogs & if she finds the right buddy, she will want to cuddle as much as possible. She is great with dog & cats! We are still working on her house-training, but she’s not too bad. She sleeps with us at night, usually migrating to the foot of the bed, with her head sticking out from under the blanket. It’s adorable. She warms your heart when you look into her eyes. She wants to be in your lap or leaning on you & listens to your voice attentively as she gets to know you.
