If the Muttville gang had a basketball team, handsome Mickey would be its slam-dunking superstar. He’s got legs for days, supernatural grace, and plenty of team spirit on and off the court. His quiet elegance and sweet demeanor bring a sense of calm wherever he goes, despite his supersized countenance. Did we mention he is handsome? A brindle bombshell, to be honest, but looks aren’t everything. Come bask in his zen-like presence. Then, go big AND go home with Mickey!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
First thing to know about Mickey is that he loves to go for a walk. I have been walking him 3-6 miles a day and he could do more. He is great on leash and needs lots of exercise. Mickey hops in for a car ride no problem. I have taken him to Golden Gate Park and Crissy Field for exercise.
Mickey is fine greeting other dogs but for the most part isn’t very interested. He is very attentive to me and checks in with nose touches during our walks. However, he is very cautious meeting new people.
He sleeps through the night, and I’ve left him alone for 2 hours. He scratched at the door a couple of times when I left, but no barking.
He is particularly adorable when he leans all 102lbs in for some love, and then burys his head in my chest for hugs.
