Hi, my name is Memphis!
I come from Stanislaus where I was roaming the streets as a stray, but I’m ready to put those days behind me and find a forever home of my very own! They say I’m a handsome guy, but really I’m just a lover. I enjoy meeting new people, especially when they scratch me behind the ears. It feels so good to have someone pay attention to me! I’m really laid-back with other dogs, and am making lots of friends at the Muttville lofts.
I would love a family that will shower me with belly rubs, love, and lots of treats. That last one is really important to me, as I love treats. If you meet my three requirements, do you think you could be my new forever friend?
Memphis is around 14 years young and about 11 pounds.

Memphis is very affectionate, playful, happy, loves to be near me, sleeping or just resting. He loves to go to the park & walks well. He may be 13 years old but you would never know. He plays with my dog & they always go together to the yard. Memphis follows me everywhere & is always laying down next to me. He is very sweet! As soon as he wakes up he goes to the yard & has his breakfast. We go to the park in the morning & at 5pm, a 1/4 block away & when he comes back he lays around, takes a nap. Memphis is very friendly to other dogs, extremely nice, large & small. We are working on Memphis’ house-training, some accidents in the house the first few days but he’s getting better with no accidents recently.Memphis loves his food. He really is the ideal dog, so sweet. He is a dream pet!
