The superior apple, the McIntosh, is a mix of green and red and a mix of sweet and tangy – it’s a complex flavor profile packed into a small package. It certainly makes an impression, and so does our McIntosh. He’s also a mix, albeit of chihuahua and pug (supreme dog combo name – the chug) with a brindled coat, because, like his namesake, he couldn’t choose just one color. This little McIntosh falls more on the sweet side, often opting for cuddles and pets – we just know this little guy with his jaunty grin, dainty white socks, and body type screaming more potato than apple will find the perfect forever home. If you’re looking for an apple-themed pup who is just the best hugger, consider McIntosh!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
My favorite thing about my mutt is how much he loves belly rubs and rubbing up and on your lap! He will make a great companion because he is great in all situations (ie. around dogs, around tons of people at Spark Social or a restaurant, at home cuddled up next to you) and he is incredibly loving and calming! He has the silliest smile and face, always looks like he is smiling very big and he LOVES belly rubs, so he constantly throws himself on his back and is so playful.
A perfect day for McIntosh is waking up to some lovins and pets after a nice 8-9 hours of rest, then off on a walk to sniff the flowers and take care of his business, then get breakfast and play fetch at home w toys and take a nap. Then walk to Spark Social to people watch and bask in the sun, and then go back home for more belly rubs. Have dinner and another walk before cuddling up for sleep.
