Maya is 2 years old. She had an injury at a young age which left her with nerve damage to her left back side. This nerve damage causes incontinence, so she wears a diaper indoors. But she is curious and energetic, approaching life with the enthusiasm of a puppy and the intelligence of a seasoned explorer. Absolutely a Velcro dog, she loves to be near you, happily hanging out in the yard or in the house.
Maya does not let her leg injury hold her back – she goes up & down stairs and can jump on and off furniture. She loves to watch TV and will let the animals on screen know she’s the boss!She loves playing with other dogs, but it takes her a little time to feel comfortable. She enjoys neighborhood walks where her nose is always hard at work investigating every intriguing scent.Maya loves being pampered, especially being wrapped in a blanket in her bed. She’s a sweet, intelligent soul who’s ready to be your loyal companion and best friend. ♥️She is not dog reactive, she does chase the chickens who are about the same size as her, She has been around children and one of the dog sitters is a 11 year old neighbor.
She weighs approximately 15 lbs
