Cocker Spaniel alert! And he sure is a nice one. Maurice is a soft and silky gent who greets everyone with a happy, friendly smile. Once you see his nubbin wagging, you’ll be smitten! He’ll be a great sidekick for walks, making friends everywhere you go. Maurice has previously lived with kids, other dogs and even chickens. Good boy!
Here’s a note from his foster!
He loves cuddles with his humans, and is nothing but completely friendly and happy to meet everyone- humans, children, dogs, cats, chickens,…and we doubt he would act out with any other animal.
We can never leave a room without Maurice glancing up with his deep eyes and trotting after us. He lies at your feet while you watch tv or read the paper. He’s great on a walk, albeit enjoying frequent quick stops to sniff out the neighborhood, and as long as he’s taken out once every couple hours and has 2-3 short walks a day, he has no accidents in the house.
Maurice wants nothing more than to check up on all his people in the house to make sure everyone’s healthy and happy, and he is always, always looking for a snuggle.
We’ve noticed him sniffing out random objects and chewing on them when he’s bored- like when we’ve ignored him for a couple hours while friends were over or something like that. We have not had the chance to leave him alone in our house, so we don’t yet know how he would react to this.
Maurice is the perfect companion, and would love to be a part of any household!
