Mascarpone was eager to head out and walk to my car and was sweet in the car. He whimpered ever so quietly (unlike how our own cockapoo usually is in the car). We did a meet-and-greet with my dog, Franklin (will be 3 yrs in February), and Mascarpone on leashes out in our front yard. Both pups had a great first meeting. Mascarpone seemed right at ease in our home and was curious to check out his new digs. (And as of right now, both dogs are totally fine to be in each other’s company. Mascarpone is also ok with my teenage girls and my fianc.. so ok with men, women and sometimes loud-ish teenagers, lol).
Took both pups for a walk twice now (once yesterday and again this morning), and they walk well together. Mascarpone is a sweet walker – he very much has a pep in his step and his cute ears bop up and down (can’t wait for him to get his cone off so he can be fully himself). The walk was on the longish side, and he didn’t show any signs of tiredness. He walked the whole way without stopping.
He is definitely a cuddle and likes his people. We are surprised how quickly he has adapted to our home and become attached to me. It’s very sweet. He’s sitting at my feet now while I work.
He slept so well. I was worried how that would work with a brand new foster and our dog in his crate… but it all went perfectly! Mascarpone slept in his comfy bed and didn’t wake up once during the night (and our dog was fine in his crate).
Mascarpone knows how to go potty outside. Yay!
Oh and he loves to be touched and massaged. He’s so sweet! I’ve also brushed him some and he’s ok with that too.
He is a gem and would be perfect for a family that’s looking for a loving companion. He snuggles.. he’s calm… so incredibly sweet. He just wants someone to love him.
