You hear a lot about how smart poodles are, but no one tells you about their philosophical side. Take Marshmallow Sky. A fan of the ancient Greeks, she leans toward idealism, but holds her own in a brisk debate about metaphysical nihilism. There’s a lot going on under that sweet white poof of hers, even if her gentle manners, sweet affection and permanent smile reflect a simple paws-on approach to life’s mysteries. She’s unbiased when it comes to other dogs and people; a bit of a zealot when it comes to food. Bring her home for hours of cuddling and meaningful pondering.

Marshmallow is hands down the sweetest and most lovable doggy I have ever had the pleasure of fostering! She is a total joy to be around. I can’t help but gush about her amazing behavior. She likes to take many naps during the day; she won’t bother you if you have other responsibilities. Not only is she potty trained, but she is also a pro at climbing up and down stairs.
She gets along great with other dogs and kids. Plus, she loves going for walks or just hanging out in the garden. Her leash manners are impeccable, and she doesn’t even react to other dogs.
But here’s the real kicker: she’s a foodie! Marshmallow goes wild for treats and it’s the cutest thing ever. Her “smile” is infectious, and her tail wags uncontrollably when she sees her favorite snacks. She might need to lose some weight, but that doesn’t stop her from jumping up and down from the bed with ease. Oh, and did I mention that she’s a bit of a hoarder? She likes to save her treats for emergencies and tries to cover them with her nose. How adorable is that?
Marshmallow is also a very independent dog that doesn’t mind being left alone. She won’t cry or cause any trouble. And when it’s time for bed, she likes to have options. She has two beds! She switches between them at night, and it’s just too cute. She sleeps like a rock and never makes a peep.
In short, Marshmallow is simply perfect. I feel so lucky to have her around.
