Fluffy, white and so very sweet, Marshmallow is perfectly named! She’s too cute with her lovely white coat, big expressive eyes and darling face, but she’s not just a pretty girl. She’s also a quiet and friendly easy keeper. With her soft and gentle personality she’ll be a great addition to your family, even if you don’t have a sweet tooth!
HERE’S WHAT MARSHMALLOW’S FOSTER MOM HAS TO SAY!
Marshmallow has been with me for about a week, every minute of every day! Because this is the girl who invented the words "attached, "companion and "devoted.
This lamb chop will make someone the most loving companion ever. She just wants to be close to her person and anything that person wants to do is good with her. However, there are a few favorite activities – long walks, naps, cuddling and Netflix. Occasionally she gets a little wild and rolls in the grass or chews on a toy. I have never seen any dog throw herself onto the sofa with such enthusiasm. Sleeping is an activity that she relishes!
Because of this, she will need patience when learning how to be alone. Naturally she has been through a lot of changes lately and was found stray, so it makes sense that she wants a steady life. We are working on the "alone time thing but she will ultimately be happier with someone who can return her commitment and devotion, someone who is around most of the time.
She is a peppy girl and we take at least three long walks a day (at least a half hour) and she can handle furniture and stairs. For the latter, it took her a couple of days to figure the stairs out, but she is physically capable and quite athletic for such a chunky gal!
She is good in a car and allows neighborhood kids to pet her. She gets along with our grouchy senior mutt and is friendly to dogs that she meets on walks.
She is generally house-trained but her habits are still a little mysterious to me. She’ll ned to go out fairly often but I think she was taught to “hold it” because she doesn’t always go when we’re out, we’re working on getting her into a routine of ‘going’. She seems to like the corner of our back yard. UPDATE: Marshmallow’s house training has improved A LOT and she now goes on our walks and in the yard regularly.
Miss Marshmallow has so much to give and her needs are so simple!
