Teensy Marley provokes some questions. Is he an exotic desert mammal partial to cactus flowers and dry heat? A lemur-adjacent jungle dweller? Or is he one of the cutest chi chi guys we’ve ever met? We know he isn’t a fan of cats, so we’re going with chi. Specifically, a two-tone looker with a little bit of cataracts in his enormous eyes and enormous sweetness in his itty-bitty heart. He’s a wag, chill and short stroll guy, sharp as a tack and focused on TLC from a trusted source. We think it’s probably you. And your dog, if you’ve got one!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
This guy is a sweet heart. Very easy going. He’s a good eater. He loves walks and is great on leash. He was quick to feel at home-maybe three days and he was down with the program. He gets along beautifully with the two dogs at the house. After two weeks he is now sleeping up against my dog. He likes to hang out on the bed cause I think it gives him the best view of things.
I take him outside to pee in my backyard first thing when we wake up, then 3 times a day. He knows how to use a peepad. He likes to get under the bedcovers. He sleeps there every night, otherwise he gets cold. He knows how to use the stairs up and down from my bed and the eight stairs at the front of the house. He loves treats, last night he worked his way through a small Greenies chew stick.
He’ll lift his paw to get more pets, always snuggles next to me when I sit down. I’ve never heard him bark. He did make this little howl the other day when I picked him up after a medical appointment, I think because he was happy to go home. He’s good in the car-though while driving he does like to be on your lap. He was fine the one time I had to leave him alone for an hour.
