Margie is a good ol’ gal who loves short walks, being called a good girl, and riding her moped. Margie recently retired from her career as a high school teacher, where all of her students were just a tiny bit afraid of her. Even still, she had students visiting her years after they graduated and all agree it’s because of her heart (and fur) made of pure gold.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Margie (aka Marge) is large and in charge here in our home. She’s a calm, incredibly quiet little lady who enjoys sniffing around in the backyard, laying in a blanket pile, and just snoozing for most of the day. She’s a huge lovebug and won’t shy away from any headscratches coming her way. Other dogs don’t seem to stress her out and doesn’t care to interact with other pups (but absolutely tolerate being in the same space). She doesn’t resource guard her food and will happily let you pet her while chomping away. She’s not a huge walker, but will gladly accompany you in a doggy sling
