An intrepid explorer just like his namesake suggests, Marco Polo fearlessly sets out in search of doggy and human friends. Despite a less than ideal upbringing, Marco Polo has a huge heart and trusts easily, so he should settle right in to his forever home. Gray and scruffy, Marco looks a bit like a dust bunny who has gained sentience, so be careful if he’s hiding under the bed! A good haircut will have him looking like a brand new dog, but we don’t think you have to change a thing about this marvelous Maltese. He’s quite fond of games and we’re guessing you might be familiar with his favorite – when he says Marco, will you be the one to shout back Polo?

Yes he gets excited when we come back from a walk and runs back and forth and wants to play with me, very good motivated, stays close on walks but independent at home. Very sweet boy!
