Maggie is approximately 10 years old. She is a ~70 lbs Rottweiler mix. Her owner transitioned to a memory care facility and is not able to care for her. We’ve been fostering her for the past few months.
She gets along well with dogs. Has some interest in our cat and bunnies, but if they don’t run she moves on. She seems to have no interest in our chickens. She enjoys meeting people and a frolicking a few minutes with other dogs before she gets tired. She barks at activity on the other side of our fence. She is curious to sniff and explore, but stubbornly refuses to go on a walk with a leash.
Maggie has lumps on her body, but our veterinarian didn’t think they were of immediate concern. She’s a dog that’s happy to greet you when you walk in the door.
