Found starving and alone in field outside of Stockton, we got the call and couldn’t turn away from this poor girl.
Maddie currently weighs 32 pounds and should weigh 60 pounds!! We think she is about 10 years old.
Everyday she is perking up and getting 4 meals, eating well.
Right now she sleeps more than anything else, you can tell she is happy to have been shaved down from all the matts and fleas and loves her cushy blankets and bed.
She seems to be house trained, so it’s possible that she had once been loved and lived in a home.
We want her to have a special loving person that will nurture her back to health and help her to feel secure.
