From her rescuer!
“Lulu is a 7 year old female English bulldog. She weighs 53 lbs. Lulu was rescued from the Stanislaus Animal Shelter in Modesto, which is a kill shelter. She was getting ready to be put to sleep back in November. Lulu was a total mess when I got her. She had a raging ear infection and she was nearly blind.
She gets along with other dogs, especially if they are nice to her. I have gotten her all cleaned up and basically well, but she will continue to need eye drops and ear drops for the rest of her life. She also needs to be spayed. Family complications did not allow her to stay in her former home.
Lulu is such a sweet dog and and loves people and other animals and deserves a chance at life with a very loving family, who can give her what she needs. I’m praying I can find someone who will take her. I’m praying that you all might take Lulu and find her a wonderful home.”
