We Love Lucy, and we know you will too!
Here’s what her foster has to say about her:
Lucy is an absolute angel. This girl loves her people. She may be a little shy at first, but just give her about an hour and you’ll have a permanent shadow. She wants to be as close to you as possible for all the chest/belly scratches you’re willing to give. Even though she wants to be close, Lucy has shown no separation anxiety, and just curls up and sleeps when I leave the house.
Lucy LOVES to be outside. Her tail starts wagging like crazy as soon as I put on my shoes or get out her leash. She’s a dream on the leash, both with the harness and with a flat collar. She loves a couple of leisurely strolls a day, with plenty of time to stop and smell the flowers. She’s shown no reactivity to cats or dogs that we’ve come across when we’ve walked, including dogs that have been lunging or barking at her. She gets along fine with my dogs as well. She is not really a fan of their exuberance and youth and will let them know if they invade her space, but in general she is more interested in smelling the air and enjoying the breeze than in what they’re doing.
This sweet girl is a couch monster, and loves to snuggle up in a corner of the sofa.
