Lucky is a beautiful girl, so graceful and super loveable. She gets along with all dogs, people and is perfect with cats too! Lucky loves leisurely walks and is reliably housebroken; how great is that? This perfect senior lady wants nothing more than to be your newest BFF!

Here’s what Lucky’s foster has to say about this special girl:

“Lucky is such a joy, so easy going, gentle, loving, playful, funny, good with kids, good with cats (does try to play with my cats, so yours should be dog savvy) and older, mature dogs. She loves leisurely, long walks, and really likes to connect, interact and play with her people. Being able to be freely inside the house or outside in the sun means the world to her and she always seeks me out throughout the day to play with her a bit. She’s easily and gracefully synched into our schedule here, and it’s as though she wears a watch and can tell the time of day! She’s so smart, and looks into your eyes deeply when you speak to her. I love that she greets me at the door with her happy snort and dance if I’ve gone out for a while! She’s super great in the car and does love to ride with the window open and wind blowing through her mane. She’s reliably housebroken, sleeps through the night, and looks forward to her daily, leisurely morning walk. She does have some arthritis in her rear quadrant and needs some assistance while walking, as her back right leg will buckle under her sometimes. This is easily remedied by using a rear lift harness that I had for my own senior dog. She will thrive in a home with no stairs and a yard that she can work on her suntan daily. She’s only barked once when someone rang my doorbell and she happily greets all my dance students as they come into the studio. Lucky will fill your heart with so much love and let you know that she is YOUR dog once you bring her into your home. "

We believe Lucky is 12 years young and weighs about 65 lbs.
