Lucille

Lucille, a sought-after night nurse for much of her career, has wound down her practice. Luckily, she continues to be a profoundly comforting presence in the lives of all who know her. Soft brown eyes and luscious swirls of thick fur draw sighs and snuggles from humans of all ages. Dogs like her smile and easygoing ways. Lucille likes walks – a good sign for her recommended weight-loss journey – but not stairs. Too many years taking them two at a time at 3 in the morning, no doubt. No matter. Take her home! She’s a natural reading buddy and might be up for occasional babysitting.
