Louie is an older poodle gentleman with a soft soul and a quiet charm. He can be a bit shy at first, taking his time to warm up and observe the world from a safe distance. But once he knows you’re kind, Louie leans into gentle pets and enjoys unhurried neighborhood strolls where he can take in the sights at his own pace. Polite, sweet, and thoughtful, he’s the kind of companion who blossoms in a calm, patient home. Louie may not rush into anything, but when he offers his trust, it’s something truly special.

Sweet Louie boy has been an absolute delight to have in our home! He is so easy going and gentle, and gets along great with other dogs in the home, and I think he’d be happy as an only dog or with siblings. His little legs can do a stair or two, but he’d prefer to be carried! He is fully potty trained, and is great on a leash if you feel like taking a (very) leisurely stroll, but he’s also happy to forego exercise for more naps! He’s happy cuddling on the floor next to me, or he lets me know when he’d like to come up and snuggle on the couch or bed. He’s started to show a little interest in playing with his plushy toy, and he gets the yayas when it’s time for breakfast or dinner!
