Meet Lola

Age: 12 | Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Approx: 21 lbs.

Lola is a spunky twelve-year-old Jack Russell with a big heart and a lifetime of loyalty behind her. She’s short in stature but not in spirit, still lighting up when she spots a toy or hears the treat bag rustle.

What you’ll get in choosing Lola:

Experience and affection: At her age, Lola understands routines, enjoys cuddle time, and thrives on a calm, consistent home environment.

Low-key adventure: She’s no puppy tornado, but she still enjoys short walks, a bit of playful chasing, and exploring safe outdoor spaces. A yard or secure fenced area would really suit her.

Twinkle in her eyes: Her muzzle may show a few gray hairs—and sure, she’s earned them—but she still greets you with that classic Jack Russell “let’s go” look.

Clear signals: Lola communicates well. She uses her body language to tell you what she wants: a pause, a belly rub, or a break from stimulation.

A note on her personality:

Lola is good with other dogs in off-leash or boarding settings where she can interact at her own pace, but she can be reactive on leash during walks.

She’s also been in a loving home with a child from birth through toddler years, showing patience and adaptability. She’s gentle when given space and enjoys being part of family life. She can be your best friend and is an excellent shadow, lol.

Ideal home for Lola:

Lola would shine in a calm household—whether it’s a quieter family, a couple, or a single person—where she gets affection, doesn’t feel overlooked, and enjoys short bursts of fun followed by a good nap. A home without high-stress commotion or frequent changes would be perfect. She’s happiest when she feels secure, loved, and understood.
